Biography:
I decided to become a Physical Therapist after gaining first hand experience as a patient. I was a competitive gymnast for over 10 years, in which time I sustained various injuries. My Physical Therapists were an inspiration to me because they took great pleasure in working hard to help me achieve my goals as an athlete. With their knowledge and guidance, I was always able to overcome my physical obstacles and return to competition. I knew during my high school years that I wanted to be able to do the same for others. Along with Physical Therapy I became very involved with coaching gymnastics so that I could help young athletes train properly and hopefully avoid some of the injuries that I had experienced.  I love my profession and take pride in the fact that I can play a key role in helping people overcome whatever obstacles they may face. All goals are rewarding when they are achieved, whether it be to win a gold medal or simply be able to climb a flight of stairs without pain. As a physical therapist I take great pleasure in helping people achieve their own personal goals and improve their quality of life.
