After graduating high school from De La Salle Collegiate, I continued my studies at Oakland University in their marketing program. During the pursuit of my degree, varied job opportunities altered my educational path. I became a successful salesperson for a local service provider, and this eventually led to becoming a small business entrepreneur. Through my experiences, I learned many lessons about what my life’s true passions are. I fell in love with the idea of helping others to “feel better and well”. This sounded like a great way to spend a career in healthcare. As I researched the possibilities, it became clear that physical therapy was where I belong.

I resumed my college education at Macomb Community College and was accepted into to the Physical Therapist Assistant Program. Macomb’s PTA Program has an excellent reputation, and I was ecstatic to be chosen as 1 of 35 selected out of 500+ competitive applicants each calendar year. During my time in the PTA Program I was hired as a Physical Therapy Technician at HealthQuest Shelby. This allowed me to pad my experience and education by immersing myself in the world of Physical Therapy. My experience at HealthQuest Shelby was extremely rewarding and enlightening. I was amazed at how much giving back to the community was such a huge priority throughout the HealthQuest organization. I was also very impressed by the emphasis that is placed on continuing education and developing the talent of their staff. I knew HealthQuest was the place for me. Upon graduation I was very fortunate to be hired in at HealthQuest Macomb and to be taken under the wings of Directors Ryan Vinson and Ed Martel, and their very knowledgeable team. The experience I have received since joining the HealthQuest team has been immeasurable. I look forward to many years of “helping people to live life well” here at HealthQuest.
