Biography:
I was first exposed to the physical therapy world when I was a young athlete. Having suffered many spinal injuries, I was in and out of physical therapy for years. From that point on, I was determined to become a physical therapist and help others on their road to recovery.
I chose Oakland University because of their emphasis on manual therapy and orthopedics. While at Oakland, I received the Neurological Excellence Award from the faculty. I am currently enrolled in Oakland's Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy two year certification program, which will be completed in the summer of 2013.
I find working as a physical therapist to be an amazing and rewarding career. I strive to incorporate all of my athletic experiences and education to develop specific and functional training programs for each of my patients.
