Biography:
I have always had a strong passion for sports and science and knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the medical field. In high school I decided that Physical Therapy would be my career path. After going through therapy for knee pain during college due to a running injury, I was certain that I had made the right choice.

During PT school, I worked as a physical therapy tech for HealthQuest at the Lake Orion facility. Following graduation from Oakland University I worked for the University of Michigan Health System MedSport Orthopedic program in Brighton and Livonia as well as a clinic in Hartland, Michigan. After starting a family, I decided to work closer to home and in 2008 I began working with George Carson and Steven Lukens in Clarkston. When the opportunity to join Steve at the Clarkston HealthQuest facility became available I jumped at the opportunity to come back to my HealthQuest family and to again work with Steve and George.

Aside from raising our twins, my husband Brian and I enjoy running. I have run 5ks up to a full marathon and would like to run more half marathons and perhaps another full marathon in the next few years. I have endured a few running related injuries and know how frustrating it is to take time off from something you love to do. I enjoy working as a PT and strive to help each person achieve their goals of returning to a previous level of function or potentially obtaining a new one!
